Strike While the Iron is Hot: The Art of Investing Time

Can I remind you that the old adage ” strike while the iron is hot” is more than an idiom; it’s a principle for effective living. It teaches us that opportunity, like heated metal, is malleable only for a moment. To delay is to miss our chance to shape the outcome.

I have learnt that one of the greatest barriers to success is often not a lack of opportunity or activities of village people, but a failure to seize a ‘kairos’ moment or act on an opportunity at the crucial moment.

While it’s easy to blame external circumstances, more often than not, our own hesitation is what most frequently leads to regret.

In truth, people approach time in three ways: many waste it, some spend it, but only the wise invest it. Yet, the return on your life is directly proportional to how you choose to use your hours and days.

2026 is here. My admonition is this: be an investor of time. Act with purpose and promptness, for time is a relentless current that waits for no one. Do not postpone until the afternoon what can be accomplished in the morning.

· Complete the form immediately.

· Apply for the opportunity before it closes.

Do not let a hot iron grow cold. Seize the moment, invest your time with intention, and forge the future you desire.

My prayer for you is that you will know what to do per time.  May God in His mercy will restore the years you have lost. May the hand of God rest upon you for speed and acceleration. May you recover & overtake in Jesus’ name.
