NOA Kwara Director Pays Homage to Emir of Ilorin, Congratulates HRH on 85th Birthday
The Kwara State Director of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Alh Dare Abdulganiyu has on Thursday, paid a courtesy visit to the Emir of Ilorin, His Royal Highness Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, at his palace in Ilorin.
The visit was to felicitate with the revered monarch on the occasion of his 85th birthday and to reaffirm NOA’s commitment to fostering unity, peace, and national values in the state.

During the visit, Alhaji Dare Abdulganiyu extolled the Emir’s exemplary leadership, wisdom, and dedication to the progress of Kwara State and Nigeria at large.
He described the monarch as a pillar of harmony and a symbol of cultural heritage, whose reign has brought immense development to the Ilorin Emirate.

“Your Royal Highness, on behalf of the National Orientation Agency and the good people of Kwara State, I congratulate you on this momentous milestone of 85 years of impactful life. Your reign has been marked by peace, unity, and socio-economic growth, and we pray Allah grants you more years of good health and service to humanity,” the Director stated.
In response, the Emir expressed gratitude for the visit and commended NOA for its efforts in promoting civic education, national ethics, and patriotic values among citizens. He urged the agency to sustain its advocacy for peace and national cohesion, particularly among the youth.

The event was attended by top NOA officials, traditional chiefs, and community leaders, further strengthening the partnership between the agency and the traditional institution in advancing national development.
